We are still "babyless" :) I went to the doctor today and the news was that I have progressed a little, but obviously not enough to put me into labor :) We have scheduled an induction for 5:30 am on Wed if Baby is not here yet. As much as I do not want to be induced, I feel much better about it after Dr. Martin explained a few things. Because my cervix is ready for labor, we can skip the whole "ripening of the cervix" part of induction and simply start pitocin to begin the contractions. If things go as he has planned, he believes Baby Cravens will be here mid to late afternoon on Wednesday, March 31! (I'm still hoping for a weekend baby)! Monday was my last day at work and I have been shocked to find that I have been bored this week. I am so thankful that I have had such a WONDERFUL pregnancy and was able to work until the end...even it is was part time :) I am not even at the miserable point of pregnancy that I hear everyone talk about...I just am getting very anxious to meet this little baby! I really have enjoyed being pregnant...other that the first 20 weeks of morning sickness :) Allen and I are planning on several "dates" these next few nights since we know it is about to be much harder for "date night" at our house, but we wouldn't change that for the world! The carseat was installed into the car for the 3rd time earlier this week (yes, it took us 3 tries to get it right) so we are 100% prepared (or as prepared as we can be) for Baby to get here. Allen explained to me last night that he already has a Christmas present picked out for the baby...talk about planning ahead :) Will keep you all posted on birth day!!!

All our bags are packed and we're ready to GO!
Our due date is 9 days away, but we are praying praying praying for a baby this week! At the doc last Friday, I had not made a whole lot of progress since the previous appt (1 1/2 weeks before). He really doesn't want me to go past my due date, therefore wants to schedule an induction for early next week if baby isn't here yet. I am SO ready for this baby to be here, but I REALLY don't want to be induced. I love my doctor and trust he will make the best decision for us. We are getting VERY excited (and a little nervous) that we are about to be parents! Cuba is a little concerned about what this means in his life. He has been practicing playing with his duck (aka "baby") and carries is all over the house with him.
Hope the next time I post it is to announce the arrival of Baby Cravens!

38 Weeks and a BIG Belly!
Still here and still pregnant! My Doctor has been out of town since Saturday and will be back tomorrow, so that is 1 good thing about this baby not arriving yet. I am 100% ready for this baby! I walk in the nursery and there is just nothing else for me to do :) At my last Dr appointment last Thursday, I was very excited to learn that things are "progressing" (won't tell details), so at least my body is figuring out that it will be delivering a baby soon :) I see Doc again on Friday afternoon and hopefully all these contractions I've been having have continued to "progress" things! After SEVERAL requests, here is a picture of my rather LARGE belly at 38 weeks.

FULL TERM - 37 weeks, 1 day
Quick update...Baby Cravens is officially cooked and ready to arrive. Now he/she just needs to hurry up and decide he/she wants to meet us. I met with the pediatrician this morning and really like him. He made me feel very comfortable and told me no questions were silly and to ask away! I have a Dr appointment this afternoon and am really hoping that all these contractions I am having have been at least a little bit productive...will keep you posted on that. On the work front, most pregnant moms begin to take it easy with work the last few weeks....I have chosen to do the opposite. Here is a very pregnant girl who normally works 4 hours a day (I know, I have it made) who for the past 2 weeks (and next week) has worked full time. If this doesn't put me into labor, I don't know what will! I was in a therapy session yesterday with one of my "little bitties" and I thought I was going to have to have another therapist pull me out of the ball pit because I was having GREAT difficulty getting out. Guess I should stay out of the ball pit until after this baby comes! Allen is getting a little nervous about taking care of a newborn, but he looked like a pro holding our little neighbor, 8 week old Wyatt, last Friday night!
Sorry this update has no pictures to make it nice and pretty, but I PROMISE a belly pic on the next update as requested by so many of you!

Nursery - Phase 2
Here are a few pictures of the "almost" finished nursery. We still have to add window treatments, a couple of pictures on the wall, a lamp and a BABY! Yesterday, baby's heartbeat sounded great and other than the baby being very low and in the right position to be delivered, nothing else has happened...so a little longer to wait!

ALSO, here is a quick pic of our new couch and chair in the den...We are SO excited to finally have furniture and Allen is in love with his recliner!

A couple of months ago, I blogged about the baby having furniture, but not any baby necessities...well 2 babies showers later and with 2 very excited grandmothers, we now have anything and everything a little baby could need or want. We do feel SO blessed to have so many people that will love this little baby! I will return soon will pics of my rather large belly!
